Kolbe Sheridan is the Chief Executive Officer of MK Wound and Limb Preservation, where he leads strategic growth and operational excellence for a physician-led organization delivering gold-standard wound care across Wichita, Kansas, and nationally.

Kolbe brings healthcare leadership experience from multiple hospital systems as well as Hutchinson Clinic, one of the region’s largest multi-specialty organizations. His background includes scaling service lines, strengthening clinical operations, and building compliant, high-performing care models.

Working alongside Dr. Justin Gooden, founder and Medical Director, Kolbe helps advance MK’s comprehensive wound care and preservation-centered approach—ensuring consistent outcomes, expanded access, and an exceptional patient experience.

Dr. Justin Gooden is the founder and driving force behind MK, bringing a bold, patient-first vision to every aspect of care. His approach centers on seeing the whole patient—not just a diagnosis—by building meaningful relationships, closing gaps in care, and creating strong partnerships across the healthcare continuum.

Dr. Gooden is deeply committed to innovation in wound care, limb preservation, and primary care, with a focus on meeting patients where they are—whether in clinics, facilities, or the home. His leadership and passion have shaped MK into a growing, multidisciplinary organization dedicated to delivering accessible, high-quality care while redefining how medicine is practiced in the communities it serves.

Julie Lawson serves as Nurse Manager at MK and is a cornerstone of the organization’s leadership and operational structure. In this role, she oversees clinic management while leading the clinical staff, including nurses, technicians, and allied healthcare professionals, ensuring that care delivery is efficient, consistent, and aligned with MK’s high clinical standards.

Julie works closely with physicians and executive leadership to support strategic growth, maintain regulatory compliance, and implement best practices that enhance both patient outcomes and staff performance.

As a respected leader and mentor, Julie is deeply committed to developing strong clinical teams and fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and excellence. Her leadership is instrumental in ensuring that MK’s clinical operations run seamlessly while supporting the organization’s mission to deliver exceptional, patient-centered care across all settings.

Michaela Gooden serves as Vice President of Marketing at MK, where she leads the organization’s marketing strategy, brand development, and growth initiatives and the alignment between MK’s clinical mission, operational goals, and community presence.

With an extensive background in medical sales, Michaela brings a deep understanding of healthcare markets, provider relationships, and strategic positioning. Prior to her role at MK, she successfully built and owned a medical device business that rapidly became a market leader within the community. 

In addition to marketing leadership, Michaela plays a critical role in supporting clinic operations through process improvement, systems optimization, and cross-departmental collaboration. 

Vanessa Evans serves as the Director of Business Development and Revenue Cycle at MK Physician Associates, where she supports operational performance, financial integrity, and strategic growth. She works closely with providers, scribes, and billing partners to ensure accurate documentation, compliance, and efficient workflows.

Vanessa is also deeply involved in practice development, contributing to clinic build-outs, service-line expansion, and the evaluation of new offerings to ensure they are operationally and financially sound. Her long-standing involvement in the organization makes her an integral part of MK’s continued growth.

TJ Lawson serves as the Director of Human Resources at MK Physician Associates, where he oversees human resources strategy, employee relations, and organizational development. He supports the practice’s growing workforce by ensuring strong HR policies, compliance, and effective people operations.

TJ works closely with leadership and department managers to support recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee engagement across all levels of the organization. His focus on compliance, consistency, and team development helps support MK’s continued growth and commitment to excellence in patient care.
